The Gottsegen 42 Flybridge is a luxury motor yacht designed for cruising performance, outdoor entertaining, and onboard comfort.

Key Features & Technical Overview

* Design & Upper Deck: Features a full-beam flybridge layout complete with an integrated hardtop, upper helm station, wet bar/BBQ station, U-shaped dinette, and aft sunbathing lounger.

* Main Deck Saloon & Galley: The open-concept main saloon includes dual lounge seating, panoramic windows, an ergonomic interior helm, and a fully equipped galley featuring premium appliances and counter space.

* Accommodations: Below deck, the master stateroom offers a island berth with ambient lighting and en-suite facilities, complimented by guest cabins and framed by wood finishes.

* Aft Deck & Transom: The stern integration incorporates a hydraulic swim platform, integrated transom wet bar, and direct stair access up to the flybridge overhang.

* Propulsion System: Powered by twin Cummins QSC6.7 380 HP marine diesel engines, delivering smooth cruising speeds, low-vibration operation, and common-rail fuel efficiency.

Hydrodynamic

Efficiency without compromise

The combination of state-of-the-art diesel propulsion technology and highly efficient generators allows unlimited range with a minimal footprint

Engine Configuration: Powered by twin US-imported Cummins QSB 5.9 / QSB 6.7 marine diesel engines delivering a combined total output of 760 hp (380 hp each at 2,800 RPM).

* Fuel Injection & Combustion: Equipped with a Bosch High-Pressure Common-Rail (HPCR) fuel injection system and a 24-valve cylinder head structure, reducing mechanical engine noise at idle by up to 80% while eliminating visible smoke emissions.

* Induction System: Features matched turbocharging paired with a seawater aftercooled system (charge air cooling) to maximize oxygen density, low-end torque delivery, and overall fuel burn efficiency.

* Drivetrain & Shaft Line: Operates on standard straight shaft drives (or optional V-drive configurations) coupled to heavy-duty hydraulic marine reverse/reduction gearboxes.

* Engine Monitoring & Digital Control: Integrated with SmartCraft® electronic engine management, offering real-time fuel flow metrics, vessel diagnostics, and digital throttle and shift (DTS) control.

Auxiliary Power Generation

* AC Generator Unit: Paired with an onboard marine diesel generator set (typically an Onan or marine-spec auxiliary unit) delivering single-phase AC power (230V / 50Hz) to support high-draw appliances.

* Load Capacity: Sized to drive the vessel's multi-zone tropical air conditioning systems, galley induction cooktops, battery chargers, water makers, and entertainment electronics simultaneously while anchored or underway.

* Sound Insulation: Housed within a dedicated sound-shield capsule inside the engine room, fitted with an water-separator exhaust muffler to minimize acoustic transfer to the main deck saloon and flybridge.

Technical Accumulation & Systems Integration

* Structural Engine Room Layout: Designed with a low-center-of-gravity mid-aft machinery room layout, utilizing structural vibration-dampening engine mounts to minimize hull resonance.

* Thermal Management: Closed-loop freshwater cooling system circulated through raw-water heat exchangers, engineered to maintain optimal engine temperatures in tropical water conditions.

* DC System & Battery Storage: Dual-bank marine battery architecture utilizing dedicated, heavy-duty engine starter batteries alongside deep-cycle house battery banks, managed via automatic charging relays (ACR) and high-output engine alternators.

* Exhaust & Environmental Standard: Compliant with EPA Tier 2 / IMO Tier II marine emission standards, incorporating underwater or wet-exhaust muffling for low backpressure and reduced transom soot accumulation.
